Embraer announced this morning that it had won an order for 10 Embraer 190s - 20 options. However the comapany did not give any details about the airline. Gulf Air?

Haven´t heard anything definite but it seems as if it is indeed Gulf Air. Still, it is a bit surprising that they didn´t announce it though, that´s what a fair is for. A bit vague is my second guess: Jet Airways.

This is really great for Embraer. They are definitely sweeping the competition...

Sweeping the competition? I see the CRJ-900 daily in TUS. I think it's the 900 anyway. I have truly lost touch the past few years but I am almost sure that Mesa has 900s. Am I wrong?
Anyway, 130 orders/options do not make a "sweep."
Maybe I should get back in the loop though.
What is it with all the "is there a possibilty airline X will.." threads? The answer it'll is possible.

I take a bit of my above post back. I now know that it is a CRJ-900. I think perhaps I need to spend a bit of time on the main page.
How many ERJ-190s have been delivered?
Wait, let me go back to find pictures. I'll just bet the answer is zero though.

Back again!
As I suspected, there is not a single ERJ-190 in the database.
As the "jungle jet" has done well I suspect the 190 will sell a few also. As in the case of the CRJ-100 and -200 vs the ERJ-135/-145, I suspect Canadair will prevail again.
Sorry.

can Embraer fullfill more orders?
recent flight international cited that Embraer may not able to deliver any more 170s/190s type before 2005 (I can't remember it very well.. ) after taking up US Airways, Alitalia and Swiss orders,
with the addition of 100 jetBlue 190s and this 10 190s...
any information about their production expansion?
