Has anyone else noticed the easyjet ad in today's paper? To help Posh & Becks (the footballer David Beckham and his wife Victoria) from becoming "homesick", easy are offering the couple & their kids a free weekly flight back to the UK (presumably from Madrid).

Is that one of the Spice Girls?
If he is a soccer player and she is a singer why do they need to fly for free?

This makes me sick! Why should they get free trips? Why don't you or me get free trips? I wonder if I told Easyjet here in AMS I was homesick would they fly me home for nothing?

I saw the ads, but I don't think its been officially endorsed or anything. Just easyjet trying to get publicity. Maybe the beckhams will reject the offer, after all, they'res a possibility the club will pay for the flights, not them, and the Beckhams would probably prefer to fly business class with a full service airline (that would be my guess) which could provide them with vip treatment, better security and privacy etc at airports.

easyjet seem to have gone a bit silly with their advertising recently, perhaps their fares are not low enough anymore and they have to resort to this kind of thing.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I recall that a couple of years back BA lost Victoria´s luggage and this case went to court. The Spice Girl demanded to get free first-class flights for life for David and herself.
If this ever came valid then I think they´ll choose BA over Easyjet.

I wouldn't take the ad too seriously. Why on earth would they want to fly Easyjet with all their millions??? The only way they'd fly Easyjet would be if they could have the plane to themselves and even then I reckon Victoria would turn her nose up at the brand name.
"Gucci, Prada, Easyjet.......hmmm, I don't like the sound of that, David".

Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) would rather be dead than caught flying on an Easyjet aircraft . What would her friends think of her if they see her getting off an easyjet flight .

Can anybody truelly see victoria climbing the stairs of an easyjet service. With all their millions i am sure they will be flying privately rather than fighting for a seat on easyjet. Some airlines will do anything for publicity, yes thats you too richard, but we the flying public know better, its never going to happen!
