Good for AeroMexico
I always thought AeroMexico was one of the most underperforming airlines in the world. It's a sad sight to see only one MD-80 a day in ATL and their route system looks like a charter airline going from MEX-CUN 8x daily.

From what I've noticed, they operate several times out of ATL using a mix of 757s and MD-80s on the MEX-ATL route; same goes for ATL-CUN.
Their route network hardly resembles that of charter operator. They have a 70 aircraft fleet.

Airworthy,
AM a charter operator for having 8x a day MEX-CUN???? How would you call DL or AA flying much more flights to Florida cities (beaches) or Caribbean destinations.
I agree AM might be underperforming, but that is far from being a charter. MEX-CUN is only their fourth largest route... Main routes are MEX-MTY (about 15x daily), MEX-DL), Mexico">GDL (aprox 12x daily), DL), Mexico">GDL-TIJ (10x daily).

Ok, Ok, I surrender
I only based on my assumptions when I was in ATL alot in 2001. Back then it seemed AM only had an MD80 that departed at 11am for MEX from the International concourse and that was it.
Air France on the other hand, had a 747 and 777 I beleive that left in the evenings. I just thought AM was underperforming since MEX is a tourist destination by itself.
