While I don't support such laws (and am a staunch opponent of communism) it is understandable that your political masters would do such things as they will effectively prevent them from ever being removed from power by giving them the means to remove from society by any means they deem necessary any group or individual who is or could become a threat to that power.
This is only natural for totalitarian regimes such as the one you now live under.

Hong Kong was run by the British for a century, the way things that are run in Hong Kong have not changed much since the Handover because society likes and is used to the ways things have been run.
There's nothing wrong with Hong Kong right now, why change it and make things worse with most people disagreeing? We have a different system in the way things are run compared to China, I accept we are 'One Country'. But what ever happened to Deng Xiao Ping's 'one country- two systems' idea which was promised at the handover.
There is no need for the change, I hope the protesting is effective. Thanks B-HOP for your support.
