If you take a look at the Lufthansa picture on this site http://www.airbus.com/dynamic/media/photo.asp you will notice the logo looks strange on the tail of the A380. The tail is so high that the round LH logo has to be placed on the lower part.

You´re certainly right. But this is just an Airbus layout-picture. Don´t take it too serious. And don´t forget the LH livery is almost 15 years old now and will be near twenty when the A380 arrives. High time for a change! There will never be a better occasion for Lufthansa to introduce a new livery than doing it with the introduction of the new flagship (as they did back in 89 when they introduced the brandnew 747-400).
I don´t expect them to play with the tail design a lot though! The whole livery might be somewhat boring, but the tail is a real classic.

Btw some airlines might take the chance to multiply the PR effect of a new livery by doing that with the intro of the A380.
SIA, Emirates, Malaysia, LH and Air France all need a new design or at least an update in near future. And, if they order, add Air China. Their livery is lightyears behind the expiration date!
Maybe even Qantas will take the opportunity although the QF livery is THE timeless livery classic that for my taste is good for another decade at least.
Same applies for Korean Air. They certainly don´t need a new livery. A A380 in KE colours will be fantastic. The then 20 year old light blue livery seems to be tailormade for such a huge whale. It takes 50 tons from its weight!

Ahem...the LH logo has been unchanged since 1926, if you want to look it up on the Lh website, look under history!!! Only the colours have changed, both blue and yellow did get darker.
