Here is something to be proud of for the people living in Seattle.
The Seafair Air Show that happens in a month has been named in the top three airshows in US. The main act of the show of course is the US Navy Blue Angels. This year there will be a F-15, C-17 with other military aircraft and other civilian acts. Also Boeing will add the Boeing 777-300ER and a old Boeing 707 to the line up. Boeing this year is the main sponsor of the airshow. It will be nice seeing the 777-300ER doing fly-bys over the lake.
I think it's the best airshow just because of the setting. It takes place right over Lake Washington during the Hydroplane races and any airshow that you can watch along the shoreline in the summer heat is the best. And if you can't make it to the airshow the aircraft always make it to downtown Seattle and do some sweet fly-bys very close to the buildings. It's pretty sweet.
This is one of three Air Shows that happens in the Seattle area. Other happen at Whidbey NAS and McChord AFB.

I'd LOVE to go! - especially to see the 773-ER and also to see Boeing's factory sites in Washington. Alas, can't afford to this year' will be making it to the Dayton, Ohio show in 13 days, however and much looking forward to it. Enjoy Seattle's show if you're going!
