Space Imaging has released these stunning pics. Still hard to believe that these were taken from 400km [250mi] altitude. Wonder what detail military satelites reach these days.

Everett area:

Clearly visable the Boeing 747/767/777 production faciliies and airfield.
The photo also shows very nice terrain characteristics, like the valey around the river on the right hand side of the photo, where some small clouds are picking up. Note that the rest of the area is completely clear!

Nellis AFB:

Absolutely incredible detail from this sat-pic. No less than 82 aircraft visable:
F117 7x
B2 3x
KC-135 4x
F15 17x [maybe more...]

This one has been posted beofre i think, but still nice:
FRA

Click for larger format: http://www.spaceimaging.com/gallery/ioweek/archive/03-01-26/frankfurt_1280.jpg

Approx 60 planes visable, 32 of them wide body. Still 40 or so parking positions empty.
Someone should inform Space Imaging that they should redo that FRA photo at around 09.00, just before the big departure push!

Anyway hope you enjoyed the photos. I most certainly did!

Nude Sunbathers huh....kinda reminds ya of Under Seige 2. I'm sure that's what the spy satelites are really used for

Did you know that the building where the 747/767/777 are built is the world's largest building by volume.

Just a little fact for you guys, incase you didn't know!

@Bigphilnyc
Are you always this harsh to the screeners? It would probably have gone in the 243 or so que for Johan.
Anyway, great comment though!

@Godbless
Indeed, that is Peter Max.
Don't let word out though. Some photohogs on this forum might take the opportunity . . . ssssstt!!
Unbelievable that it can be seen from space. Must have been Canon glass, L IS series off course!
