some time ago, I started a similar thread about LH´s 1983 timetable, which turned out to be hugely popular.

Now I acquired a timetable effective November 1, 1956, I thought I´d repeat that and share some highlights with you.

The Super Constellations came in three configurations:
a - 49 Y seats in 2-3, 8 F seats in 2-2
b - 69 Y seats in 2-3, 4 F seats in 2-2
c - 48 F seats in 2-2

The Convair had 44 seats in 2-2

The DC3 had 26 seats in 2-2


An exemplary dinner in the First Class Senator Service looked like this, proudly presented in the "stomach timetable" (Magenflugplan):
