Hello all, Capt. DekX here sending out an invitation to anyone who would like to start a new sort of plane-pooling service. AIAA is having their 39th annual jet propulsion conference July 20-23 in huntsville. The lineup looks stunning, in addition to the available Boeing Plant tour and the Marshall Flight Center tour to name a few.
I'll be documenting the whole trip and takeing pics of whatever we spot along the way. But I though this would be a great chance to meet some new faces, including myself being new to the airliners.net community.
I'll be renting a cessna or the piper warrior from a local school and flying down, theres room for 4 to split the cost evenly.
By the way, I'm in the Toronto area, but we can make exceptions and pick people up along the way.

Thanks, I just figure we can start a plane-pooling group. I'm sure there are a ton of pilots out here and it doesn't have to be a weekly event, have something to do on a special day. I have a few buddies I plan on ferrying to NYC when the last concorde comes in. It could be a great adventure for everyone.

I agree with you on that. It's a great way to build time and keep costs down, and have fun for everybody. I posted last year about the possibilities of doing a fly-in at Rockliffe near Ottawa, but I thought I'd have my license by now. Hopefully your ideas will materialize.
