What was the fastest ever airspeed/groundspeed you've ever seen on Airshow on a 744/777?

I've noticed 800 mph/1280kph airspeed on Airshow, but didn't notice what the groundspeed was, on B1F powered 744s going eastward on the Pacific Ocean a couple of times (Asiana, Eva, JAL, etc.). I assume that the tailwind speed might have been around 200 mph since 744s only normally cruise at 575 mph or maybe reach a maximum cruise at 600 mph?

I've taken a 773 once, didn't pay much attention to airspeed/groundspeed, but recall it didn't particularly go that fast since it was moving westward in Southeast Asia (which is against the headwind so airspeed was significantly reduced). Nevertheless, the aircraft took about 4.5 hours to get to BKK from ICN (normally it takes 5 to 5.5 hours on most aircrafts for this distance).
