German low cost airline Germania Express yesterday announced that they will base two Fokker 100 at Bremen from Nov 1st and another two from next April. First destinations will be ZRH, VIE, and LGW in order to replace ceased operations by LX, OS, and BA. Other destinations are not fixed yet but rumors say they will also start flying to Nice, Florence, and Venice.
This comes quite surprisingly as BRE did not have any low costs so far and many think the market isn´t big enough to support all these flights, especially with HLX´s base in Hannover only a one-hour drive away. So let´s see how they will be doing. I wish them good luck, cos I hope to be on the one or other flight with them!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
