rate these routes based on what you think the chances of them happening on B6 are... 0=never 10=definently.... if there is a chance, in your opinion, then put your guess on when they will do this route

I'll respond to the ones that I consider to be zeros (no chance):
JFK-MIA
B6 won't want to initiate a head-to-head battle with AA. It prefers to take the lead and make AA play catch-up, e.g. JFK-LGB.

I'm sorry... i didn't know Hartford's code... HFD-Hartford... i completely forgot that it was DL / KBDL), USA - Connecticut">BDL for bradley field or whatever.
SEA-HNL is not a choice, that was my bad, smae with SEA-OGG
ScottysAir, as much as i agree with you for the routings, i don't think that Neelman is thinking like us!
HNL-OGG is 100 miles, so ETOPS is not an issue, but i can see why it would look odd.
AS FAR AS MY OPINION:
JFK-Midway= 10... very soon
JFK-ORD = 10... unless they go to midway
JFK-DET = 3... good route, but Flint might work as well
JFK-MSP =10... good support for a city without it
ADDED: MSP-LGB = 8... with space, a good route
JFK-MIA =5... Miami just fits B6 in my opinion
FLL-ATL =10... i think it is a very profitable route. Although DL removed flghts, they are all 767-300 or -400's
ATL-JFK=10 SONG
SJU-FLL=10... good route?
MSY-LGB= 10... good route!
LGB-HNL=3 (7 for codeshare) it will happen
LGB-OGG=3 see above
OAK-OGG see above
OAK-HNL see above
SEA-ANC 7... it will happen. with the new "iceberg Blue"
HNL-OGG 2 (7 with codeshare) i can see a big codeshare
ANC-FAI- 7, see SEA-ANC
SEA-LGB 8... if room opens up
LGB-TPA 6... only to take on SONG
JFK-IAD 10... jetBlue Shuttle
JFK-BOS see above
FLL-DL / KBDL), USA - Connecticut">BDL 6 Song stopper
ADDITION: PBI-DL / KBDL), USA - Connecticut">BDL 6 SONG stopper
FLL-MCO in the new EMB 10 jetBlue Express
FLL-TPA see above
JFK-Nassau 8... same type of route as JFK-SJU
JFK-YUL 10 Neelman is probably thinking: OH CANADA!!!!!
JFK-YYZ 10

Some random selections...
LGB-RDU=7 Lots of talk about this one believe it or not!
JFK-CLT=6
LGB-ORD=8
JFK-ORD=7
JFK-MDW=4
LGB-MDW=3 MDW has plenty of lowfare competition, WN too, go for ORD!
JFK-DFW=7
JFK-STL=6
JFK-FNT=6
The EMB 190's aren't coming till 2005, so I won't bother guessing on those!!

I would not rule out JFK-MIA for a few reasons. First off, jetBlue's second biggest frequent flier base is in the Miami area. With eleven year-round dailies to JFK (more in the winter), two dailies to Dulles, and a second daily to Long Beach starting 8 September (only four months after the inagural), they are huge here. FLL-OAK is also in the pipeline, and rumours are it will be ready for Christmas. Three daily MIA-JFK flights would compliment the FLL service very nicely, and would fill easily. MIA is spending $600,000 this year and for two more years to lure new international and low-fare carriers, including jetBlue. They are offering zero incentives though, just clever marketing, and they are targeting jetBlue. We'll see what happens. Reasons not to expect jetBlue at MIA? Besides the obvious fact that MIA is a congested airport that does not fit the jetBlue personna, the biggest reason is clearly American Airlines. Though they have many more markets to look at before ever coming to MIA.

Why is everybody so confident that YUL-JFK or YYZ-JFK would be a "for sure" for B6?
B6 could easily tap the HUGE florida markets out of Montreal and Toronto to FLL. With B6's low-fares and brilliant service, they could blow others on the route (SG/AC/TS etc.)

I could see B6 operating a MSY-LGB at least a few days a week.
The would be going agiansit UAL and WN to the LA area, so I'm not so sure they would make it a daily frequency.

I agree with FLYYUL, any Toronto and/or Montreal service would be to Ft. Lauderdale, not JFK. I could also see potential for a YYZ-LGB redeye service. Both Toronto and Montreal are well served from New York City. The same way they bypassed JFK with Dulles and Atlanta service, I see the same with any service they propose to Montreal and/or Toronto.
