How much do some airplanes cost?
What are the most expensive parts on them?
In a plane like the 717, boeing seems like they might make a 300 version which will have 5 more rows, with abotu 30 more seats. What is the price difference there between that and the 200 version?
I can't imagine the price difference being small, nor can I imagine it being worth it. I can't imagine being the owner of an airline and walking to teh last 5 rowas of a plane, and thinking to myself "I paid an extra $500,000 each plane for this 10 foot by 10 foot space."
Once these get answered, I have more to ask about costs. I want to learnt he business aspect of aviation, and you'll be getting a LOT of similar and more technical questions over the next few months.

Airbus seems to keep these details secret... not sure why... however, there are some details if you search on the internet, and if you play AirlineSim, they have estimates of aircraft prices over there, too.
