I wonder why almost 4 months after NWA revealed its new livery (that grows on me with all the shiny summer photos now being uploaded) only one 747 has been repainted so far, N661US. During a similar period JAL repainted 3 times more at least. I know that NWAs process is meant to take long because they want to save bucks, but this is really slooow.

The new colors will be painted on during the airlines regularly scheduled repainting, which will be over the next 5 years. 77 jets (27 delivered this year, and 50 jets on the airlines painting schedule for 2003) will be painted in the new colors by December.
