What is the longest regularly scheduled, non-charter route for the A319, A320, and A321? US Airways has operated the A319 and A321 on PHL-SFO(2,191nm) and Jetblue operates the A320 on JFK-OAK(2,238nm). Can anybody come up with A320 routes that are longer than these?

JetBlue's JFK- West Coast routes (especially OAK) have to be some of the longest as they are really at the limits of the A320's range.
But the A319 has a slightly further range. On my honeymoon, I flew BDL (Hartford) - SFO on a Untied A319. Obviously that is a few miles more than JFK-OAK, but not many.
Were there any BOS-SFO routes or anything like that with an A319?

I believe that one of the longest regularly scheduled routes for an A320 Family plane is a regular flight from a Detroit area airport to Sttutgart flown by a A319CJ owned by the DaimlerChrysler Corporation.

The longest are two regularly scheduled charter flights, one from Lisbon to Sao Tome (SSG) and another from Vilnius to Tenerife. I may have the city pairs wrong but I have the general regions correct. Both are around 3000+ miles.

Qatar are planning (don't know if they've started yet) to use their 319LR from Doha to Moscow as a seed service, hoping to build up pax so they can use a 330.

The ranges of the 737NG and the A320 family aircraft I believe are nearly identical. I think they have the same cruise speed as well.

I think one of the longest routes could be San Jose, CR to Los Angeles in a Taca A-319, that route is more than six hour flight.

27 Manni: Ryan Air (the American one) operated scheduled flights (4 weekly) between BRU and CVG on an A320 withh a stop in Keflavik.
28 OverseasBHX: Dear Pzurita1, How did you calculate the distances? You're right: all the examples that have been given are of little use if no distances are stated.
29 Shamrock1Heavy: OverseasBHX - We use the Great Circle Mapper, it'sa nifty little tool that can be found at http://gc.kls2.com/ Have Fun! Did anyone mention OAK-JFK wi
