Not to be outdone by the 'favorite Boeing' thread, are you? Mine is currently the A330-200, a shrink that defies conventional wisdom and is an unqualified hit! A close second would be the A340-500, such impressive range! (I'm not as high on the -600, feel it looks disproportionately too long, unlike the B777-300ER which looks better proportioned, due to its' thicker fuselage) Third would have to be the A318, even though I doubt it will be very successful, it's just too darn puppy-dog cute! The A380 may climb to the top when it gets here but I'll have to see one in person to be sure.

Well, having flown on a lot of 319 and 320's, I'd have to say that my favorite of these would be the 320. I was on an AC 340 once, but that was from YYC-YVR, and in my opinion, a hour long flight isn't long enough to make a real opinion.

No but seriously, My favorite by far is the A340-600. Just a monster.
The only other Airbuses that I like are the A321 and A330. I dont like anything else from them.

I'm certainly no fan of the A340... but have to admit there's just something about the A32x.
That, and the A330 has really stuck it to Boeing over the last few years. Amazing aircraft.... still nothing when compared to a 777... but amazing nonetheless

"none of the above"
PLEASE, Goingboeing, have some respect for the other contingent. I didn't see quips like this in the 'favorite Boeing' thread. Though pro-Boeing myself, mainly since I'm in the U.S., I still admire the Airbus organization and its' product line. (My political complaints have nothing to do with Airbus, per se or its' outstanding aircraft). We don't need any more 'A vs. B.' wars erupting, here. You're entitled to your opinion but please try to refrain from raining on someone else's parade. Restraint is a 2-way street. Let's keep the peace. Cheers!

I would pick A310 due to the looking of this plane. I also admire the big 4 engines of A340-500/600.
As being flyer, none, sorry. Reason? Airbus' tiny windows a big turn off.
