OK, yet another airport on my "holiday destinations when I'm rich" list, right after St Maarten and ahead of that other one, what was it called, I think it's in Mexico.... erm... with the 727s and AA 757s flying in above a small pub...
So how much scheduled jet traffic does the airport get?

I believe that you are thinking of TGU (Tegucigalpa, Honduras). There is a small restaurant on a hill just to the right of the approach path (sorry, don't know which rwy). The a/c are so close on final, that it seems as if the restaurant opened a new drive-thru window of sorts!
Some time back, I saw a couple of pics here on a.net of a SAHSA 722 on final for TGU. Definitely a close-up of the a/c!
