I know your Neices, Kid's can do better, but the thread is just about the concept and not the art work, the livery follows the Eurowhite theme but with Grey in place of White, shown on a DC-10 and MD-11, inspiration is from Air Canada and Cathay Pacific's livery and colours.

Personally I prefer it on the MD-11, I did'nt paint the engines beacuse it would become too much with the logo on the tail and winglets already, heres what else could be done:

Just the wing engines and the tail painted on the DC-10, with the tail engine in Grey.

Just the tail and winglets painted on the MD-11, with all three engines in Grey.

Just the wing engines and tail with engine painted on the MD-11, with winglets in Grey.

Just the wing engines and tail painted on MD-11, with tail engine and winglets in Grey

Just the tail painted on the DC-10, with the tail and wing engines in Grey.

Just the tail painted on the MD-11, with wing and tail engines plus winglets in Grey.

Better than the current livery which is very boring and worse than Iberia's! That's really bad...

Good idea Airmale... this would make them a real 'National Flag Carrier'.  Smile

The current livery has a red spot on the tail and a tiny flag towards the front... but it's not very patriotic. Email it to them Laugh out loud

Hmmm... I think you should not rename the airline to BimanAir - I really like your colours - but please - don't replace the name...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

The title could also be 'bimanair bangladesh' or 'biman air bangladesh' or 'BIMANAIR bangladesh' or 'BIMANAIR BANGLADESH' or 'BIMAN AIR BANGLADESH', which also sounds better than their present one, they could then also be called 'BAB' for short. 'BANGLADESHI AIRLINES' or simply 'BANGLADESHI' or 'BIMAN' could also do.

I dont know what 'BIMAN' means in Bengali but it sounds very close to 'Bayiman' in Urdu/Hindi which is an insult meaning literally 'Without/Of No Faith' and casually it means 'Cheat/Fraud', so I'm averse to it and prefer just Biman or Bangladeshi or Bangladeshi Airlines or the Biman Air Bangladesh titles over 'Biman Bangladesh Airlines' or even 'Biman Bangladesh' as it seems like one is saying Bangladesh is a cheat or fraud nation or a nation without faith and that dosent sound good, atleast not to me.

Biman Bangladesh was and is the best ...

I like the colors but I really hope it will remain "BIMAN BANGLADESH AIRLINES" as long as possible ...

I think the livery & the name are fine as they are. The livery hasn’t changed much over the years. It looks classical….

"Biman" comes from Sanskrit word "Viman" which literally means "plane".

Nice livery suggestion, but the one they have right now is great as it is - not too much, or too little, just the right amount. And the country's flag colors are represented in the livery. However, "Biman Bangladesh" in my opinion (I don't want to offend anyone else's ideas) is too long...I think just "BIMAN" should be the airline's name...nice and simple, easy to remember, and not too long.

Their livery along with Air India's are the only classic styles which are looking more outdated with time, they're like the China Airlines and Syrian Air of south Asia, even those two after holding onto their "classic" style liveires for ages decided to go for new looks and its about time BG and AI did too.

Another idea for their livery is that they retain the hybrid Canadian Airlines scheme that one of their DC-10s is wearing, change the top half from White to Grey, the belly, engines and tail from Blue to Green and drop the bird logo, get a new font for the titles abbreviate the name on the fuselage to 'BIMAN bangladesh airlines' or '' or just have the 'BIMAN' painted in large letters above the cabin windows with small 'BANGLADESH AIRLINES' (in capital or small letters) title painted under the cabin windows, like in the KLM livery where the 'Royal Dutch Airlines' title comes just under the cabin windows and the KLM logo/acronym.

The airline definitely needs a new image that will also work for the country, odd but I'd actually start seeing Biman and bangladesh witha ne wperspective if they got a nice new scheme so it does work psychologically look at the new Ethiopian Airlines livery, its given a fresh look to the airline and is making a good impression.

Maybe I can hook up with AirOrange and his Lila Design team, and we can promote these concepts in a professional manner, an uncle of mine also has very good contacts in Bangladesh as well as within Biman's office in Karachi and the Bnagladesh Consulate here right upto the highest level, perhaps he could help too by getting us through the right channels.

Can anyone do the above concept digitally or in Adobe illustator or something else? AirOrange or Ryefly?

Also 'Biman Airlines bangladesh' could be used.
