NW Airlink: Will They Be Repainted?

Will the NW Airlink and Jet Airlink aircraft be repainted in the new colors? I personally think that the Saab's look pretty ugly in their current all red scheme.

I have both heard and read that the Saabs will stay in their current red scheme. The Saabs have not ever been in NW mainline colors. The CRJs and ARJs however, will be repainted.

Yes, XJ still flys the ARJ's. It will be intersting to see how they look in the new colors.

I hope the ARJ's get repainted but the Saab's stay red. The Saab's would look ugly in the new paint scheme and are very distinct looking in red.

Actually the ARJs look odd period. But when you fly on them they are every bit as good as the mainline jets.

Has anyone ever noticed that the new NW logo on the starboard side and tail, has the compass pointing to the Northeast? Oops! I wonder if any of the NW execs were paying attention to this "minor" flaw?!? I'm sure they were going for symmetry, that's the ticket ... but come on ... They should change the name on the starboard side to Northeast Airlinres, and the commuters to NE Airlink, or point the triangle to the northwest.

This has been discussed in previous topics. The logo pointing northeast is to represent NWA's globalization.

Yeh, NW for sure dropped the ball on the logo change. Oh well, the redesign was done in-house instead of paying some big San Francisco design firm big bucks like they did the last time. Remember it was done to save money and save money they did!! Overall the silver is fine if a bit plain and the black titles look good as well. Only the compass logo needs some tweeking. At least the gray is gone. Now lets stop talking about the stupid compass needle.
