KLM used to fly 743's from YVR to AMS 4 times a week, 3x nonstop and 1x via YYC. They replaced that with 4x a week nonstop MD-11's around 1996, it went daily in 1997. 763's replaced the MD-11's for the winter season only, but in 1998 they decided to use 763's year round.

If you want to see a KLM MD-11, come on down to SFO. KLM used to fly the 744, but have switched to the MD-11 for quite some time now. And if you like DC-10's, you can catch NWA flight 27 to NRT! A DC-10-30 or 40. I can't tell the difference.
