Cathay Pacific has unveild a US$159 096 200 H1 Loss for the financial year beginning from 1 January 2003 to 30 June 2003.

"The outbreak of atypical pneumonia, or SARS, had a devastating impact on passenger numbers in the second quarter. Which is around the same as Singapore Airlines, and totally not surprising.

(lets cut the childish crap that might follow okay?)

I wonder how the other airlines in Asia like CI, MH and TG might fare.....

GOod thing is that SARS is now over and passenger traffic is coming back to Asia.

I hope the Jakarta blast will not have that big an impact on tourism recovery though!
