The Green Bay Packers flew NWA A/C#5803 from ATL to GRB tonight, flight#9963--then that A/C will go onto DTW as FLT#9823 due into DTW around 5:30 a.m.

And the Cleveland Browns went from flying in a Northwest 757 to a big 767-300! Must of been a bid too good to pass up from Delta...

So a Chicago sports team chose YX but a WI sports team chooses NWA? Interesting...

Heh...there's a good explanation behind it. YX's planes aren't big enough to hold professional football teams due to the amount of players, their equipment, etc. They fly on larger planes.

Not surprising at all -- NW's either the largest or second-largest carrier at GRB in terms of pax carried...

That's actually not why they chose NW over YX, but is probably the reason they chose NW over another major. Plus, I was trying to show some sarcasm and then explaining it. Oh well...

Philadelphia Eagles used a NW 757 for their trip to MSY to get spanked by the Saints tomorrow night. Broadcast nationally on ESPN!

Hey does anyone know how the Cincinnati Bengals get around? I guess Delta, but with that awful team it may be a Greyhound Bus!

Here's a few more (some of these are as last season, but close enough still)...

New England - uses DL 763...comes into PVD as a scheduled extra section, and returns to ATL as such.
Buffalo - World Airways MD-11
Denver - United Airlines 757/767 (unsure of which varients, etc.)
Kansas City - Delta 763
Pittsburgh - US 757

I have seen the New York Giants use United in the past, and I know that Miami has used AA 757s to come to New England in the past, and St. Louis used a TWA 757 to come here (probably AA now).

For those of you in the Cleveland and Green Bay area and want to see a 757-300, the Packers will be flying on NWA A/C#5803 (again) from CLE-GRB after the game Saturday night...

I saw the Northwest 757 sitting on D Concourse in ATL on Saturday night. I figured that's what it must've been. Either that, or one sweet equipment upgrade from the usual DC-9/320/146 traffic we usually get.

redskins took an AA 757 this past weekend down to CLT. i guess they left their offense in the seat pocket in front of them. last year they used a US 757 at least once, and took a UA 744 to osaka for the preseason game there.
