Both occurred yesterday:
1) Thomas Cook A330 G-OJMC operating TCX 473L on the SFB-MAN route had a faulty air conditioning unit which led to some people not feeling very well; it was alleged to have been given an expeditious approach into MAN. Aircraft stayed on the ground for about 10 hours, with G-OJMB positioning up from LGW in mid-afternoon to operate the MAN-YVR sector, with G-OJMC routing to LGW.
2) BACitiExpress ERJ145 G-EMBY on BRT172 (or BA 4172) routing ABZ-BHX declared a mayday due to indications of smoke in the rear hold. Aircraft landed safely and the firemen couldn't find any evidence of anything untoward.
