Any Air Canada or Air Transat FAs on this board?
What is the maximum number of hours an FA can work in a day at AC and TS? I believe that at AC the duty day calculation starts :45 min prior to take-off and ends :45 after landing. And of course, it includes the time on the ground (between flights).

If I recall correctly, with Royal, f/a's could work a maximum of 17 hours. You could not refuse up to 15 hours, but beyond that, the crew could refuse, anywhere up to 17 hours, at which point it was not allowed at all. Beyond 15 hours, there was a bonus, and another beyond 16 hours.
I don't know how it works at Air Canada or Air Transat, but this was just to give you an example.
