Between two buildings at BFI, I noticed a Ryanair 738 with a slightly modified livery. The titles and the harp are more billboard-style, and the blue belly seems to have been pulled down a little.
Couldn't get a side shot from where I was, but this gives a pretty good impression.

I was at STN a few weeks back and there I saw a few different styles of FR-liveries and I am not counting in the hybrid ex-Buzz planes here. So I guess they are trying to make little changes or better updates for a while now.
But if this now already happens on a plane standing at Boeing they might have decided to actually go for an update.
But if anybody would ask me than I would say that they should totally rebrand. I think the livery is 70's style and don't let me say anything to the uniforms of the cabin crew...
When I see them I always have to think of our German statement: Gewollt aber net gekonnt. Somethink like wanted to but not able to.

Actually, I always thought Ryanair had, paradoxically, the most elegant and stylish of all European Low Cost airline liveries. Livery-wise, it's the BA of LCCs. Product wise, the National Express
Go was too white (although the colourful bellies and engines were nice), Easyjet is among the ugliest liveries in the world, BMI Baby is a joke and too white, too. Buzz was nice, though. Germanwings and HLX have acceptable liveries....
But the photo you link to looks cool, I always liked their billboard livery, and this mixture of billboard and traditional Ryanair livery is brilliant.

I had a closer look. The new engine livery looks unconvincing - all blue was fine, they could have gone all yellow, too. Or some blue/yellow pattern. Or blue with a yellow harp on it (like the tail). Or a yellow clover leaf to remind everyone they're Irish. But Blue/Yellow Stripe/White? That's actually not too well done

Will 737-800s be painted in the "Logo" liveries after the 737-200?
