Hello,

Has anyone ever flown on a Biman DC-10 route?
It seems that Biman Bangladesh Airlines is flying these aircraft for a verry long time, also I heard that Smoking is still allowed with BG

Biman is still Operating their DAC-BRU-JFK routes with DC-10 Aircraft.

please share your experiences!

Smoking is not allowed anymore on BG.

Try to contact BG reservations in Belgium, I hear they have good deals to JFK! And what beats a transatlantic DC10 these days?

Regards
Frederic

I flew Biman Bangladesh on a CGP-DAC flight (flying JED-CGP-DAC).
No smoking on Biman and if you know Bangladesh, you won't be surprised by Biman. They are really special, but I liked them ...

Have flown BG DC-10s on the two sectors: BOM-DAC, DAC-DXB. While the aircraft interiors may be rather shabby and outdated - their deals are pretty good. BG has two DC-10 types: their own and those which are ex Canadian aircraft. Business class on their own DC-10 is quite cramped. However the J/cl on the ex Canadian aircraft are extremely spacious. Smoking is not permitted on BG services. Meals are above average though the crew are typically avuncular types (male) and matronly women.

Fly them for the pure pleasure of being on board a DC-10 - a true beauty.
