Hi,

What is your favourite short-haul aircraft
e.g. B727, B737, B757, A319, A320, A321, DC9, MD80, MD90 etc.
And with which airline would you like to fly with on that aircraft.

My favourite aircraft is the 757 and I would like to fly with British Airways.

Of the ones I've flown, my favorite is the DC-9-51 of Hawaiian Airlines.

But I'd like to try the DC-9 or MD-80 of Midwest Express.

My favorite was the Convair 440 on Eastern and Lufthansa. But since the Convair doesn't fly anymore, I guess I need to choose something more up-to-date. So I'll go with the B727-232 on the Delta Shuttle.

MD-80 and -90 always. For me their the best, they have one of the best safety and reliability records out there. And their not as long and thin like the 757.

My favourite short haul aircraft has to be the Fokker F-28-4000.
I flew this aircraft once 5 years ago on Air Mauritanie from Nouakchott (Mauritania) to Dakar in Senegal.
It was one of the smoothest flights I have ever flown on!!

Craig. You said you like the BA757 I know a guy that is a BA 757 pilot. I thought you would like to know that.
My favorite short haul airliner are:
757 As it look really nice
320 I like the glass cockpit
737 (300 +) The king of the short haul
DC-9/MD83+ I only like these in certain colors like Reno but I think they are ugly in American.
Is that them all?? I just have a heart for planes.

MD-80/90.....everyone calls them long thin tubes...but hey they are great, a nice diversion from the 3-3 standard of the boeing narrowbodies. Especially first class on the MD-80, flew on Reno, very nice. With the engines at the rear of the aircraft engine noise is barely perceptible

I would have to say the B757-200. Two of my most enjoyable flights were on B757s. I flew phx-ewr on a AW 757-200 and it was a comfortable and quite smooth flight. I also flew ewr-sfo on an UAL 757-200 and that was just as enjoyable.

Fokker-100...nice smooth and quiet. 2+3 seating is great. I enjoy flying them with USAirways. I also like flying on Continental Express in their RJ-145's. They have amazing leather seats and are very smooth aircraft.
