I just realized recently that UA no longer offer SFO-TPE non stop flight. When was this flight cancelled? Is it a temporary suspension or is it permanent? Lastly what was the cause of this flight being suspended/cancelled? Was it partly due to the SARS outbreak? If it is a temporary suspension, when do you guys think the flight will resume?

Seriously doubt SFO-TPE service will resume any time in the near future. The Taipei flight attendant base is closing on October 1st.
As a result of the drop in SFO-TPE service, NRT-TPE route however will be upgraded to a 747-400 versus the previous 777.
