Which US airline's are doing well and which are doing not so well? of those doing bad which ones are most likely to become nonexistant in due time

Okay-

AA (on its way back to profitibility)
UA (on its way out of bankrupcy)
YX (just avoided bankrupcy)

Unless 2 airlines merge in the near future, I think they will all stay in business for now.

Hasn't this been discussed many times already? In any event, a reasonable answer might be that AA, UA, US and YX are the most troubled, though all except possibly the latter are likely to survive; WN, FL and B6 are probably the best-off; and the other carriers are somewhere in the middle.
