That's really a shame! I've always liked the "gens du sud (people of the south)personality" of Air Littoral.
Does this mean they've stopped flying already?

Hello

They are still flying! As far as I understand the article they guarantee to keep all flights for the next 45 days and that an American investor group is taking over the company...

Another victim of the Swissair megalomaniacs ...
I had my first job for an airline at FU.(ORY, CDG, and a replacement in BIQ)
I learned a lot in this company, and I hope they will survive. And I hope for those great people that Marc Dufour will not stay.
If some former colleagues read that, good luck

Actually, they are not bankrupt yet.

It's rather close to what happened to UA when they went chapter11

They could change their fare structure to encourage earlier bookings and add Spanair codes to more flights, but the success of that would depend on BD and LH flights having Spanair codes.

...the bankruptcy of Air Littoral just shows that it is not SR's fault! They just ran out of money now that the Swiss don't send a few hundred millions every year...

Swissgabe, it is not Swissair that I blame. It was my favorite airline. I blame the megalomaniac people who crashed Swissair by their stupid strategy.
If the idea was to have trafic rights in France, 1 airline was enough.
I don't see the rationale of buying 3 airlines that have only one thing in common (the millions they loose) and trying to merge them. An addition of losses will never equal a profit.
