Indeed I don't know the answer. Good for them, and good for all of us that are able to avail of low-cost flying, whatever the airline.  Big grin

How 'bout LH [incuding cityline partners] with their FRA and MUC hub, and numerous routes out of secondary German airports like TXL, DUS, HAM, etc.

Not for the same price as FR.

Mika, of course it's great for those of us who only fly for fun. All LCCs, including Ryanair and even some frilly airlines like Air Berlin, are offering us the joy of flight for very reasonable prices.

But let's not forget that the traditional carriers are also now offering some very good deals, and these are useful for those of us that don't live near some of the airports such as STN, LTN or CRL.

Additionally, don't forget the type of customer LH and other airlines might be catering to...they may not be concerned with great fares, but more with convenience - lots of frequencies, loyalty rewards and guaranteed A-B travel on the same day.  Big grin

I am pleased with the progress of the LCCs (because I benefit), but let's not blow the LCC trumpet to loudly!  Big grin

I enjoy my flights with FR (well, until they cancel my flight...), but have nothing against flying with LH or BA - if they are cheaper!
