Now THATS a movie.
Seriously, I was just about to scream GO AROUND at my monitor as he floated past 5/6ths of the runway.
I only wish Mr CameraMan would have shown where they ended up.

Did you guys ever see that video of the UPS DC-8 up in Colorado or Wyoming that did the missed. It touched down about 45 off heading before the pilot decided to do a go around.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw that video! I was desperately searching around for an airport, and I was thinking to myself aren't they a bit low, they better turn their final! Needless to say I nearly yelled at my computer to for them to go-around.

Loved the video. When I saw the clearing in the woods at the beginning, I knew that there could not be a runway in there, surely, even though it looked like a runway. Nobody would put a runway in there. Then horror set in. Floating didn't help. Overall, a bad approach. But in a situation like that, anything but a go around is a bad approach. Insanity.
BTW, why was the camera so bouncy? Was that turbulence or just the shaking of the co-pilot?
