Remaining Delta MD-11s

First off, Im sad to see Delta's MD-11s go, but if it means Delta's survival, then I guess Ill live. :p
My question is, what are the reg. #s of the remaining Delta MD-11s?

Well they aren't totally gone yet even on domestic. I just saw one Thursday land at MCO for Flight 63 subbing for the 777

N812DE, N802DE, and N814DE, and N815DE have all appeared in this database relatively recently, so I would assume those are probably the ones still around. (I suppose there could be others)

I looked in the DL timetable and didn't see any obvious routes flown by the M11. I looked ATL - MCO/FLL/LAX/SFO/JFK and there was nothing. It would be nice to have someone from DL let us know if they are on scheduled service still or not.

The -11's only officially fly ATL-Narita until January when they'll be 777's .

The MD-11s on the ATL-MCO routes are just subs for a 777 or a 767-400 that day.

SNN/DUB is on a 763, the last MD-11 flight there was on June 30. The remaining DL MD-11s are 801, 802, 804 and 815.
801, 802 and 804 are used for ATL-NRT. 815 is scheduled to do MCO runs for the next couple of days.

I am so disappointed that I never got to fly on a Delta MD-11. I have always wanted to, but the one time I was booked on one to Paris, a 767-300 was substitued for it. I think it's sad that DL has downsized its widebody fleet. First the L-1011's go, and now the MD-11's.

There was 4 Delta MD11's sitting in GYR the other day ... I couldn't get close enough to see tail #'s ... Plus several Virag MD11's too.

The MD11s are very inefficient compared to 777s/767s, and thus were replaced.
