Since when does Shuttle by United fly to MCO? Or was this just an aircraft sub?

United ended shuttle service in 2001, and the planes have been put back into the mainline fleet, just haven't been repainted.

I think it was probably a mainline flight, using a Shuttle a/c, because UA stopped that operation, but those a/c have not been re=painted into mainline c/s yet.

Nor do I think that UA will ever repaint them. They show up constantly at GRR.

What is there to repaint? Just change the titles - which are probably decals anyway. This has been discussed many times before.

I think the "Shuttle" titles will be gone once the aircraft is due for its next MX D-check, at that point it has to be repainted anyway. Yes, it still has the "Shuttle" titles because when it went through its last D-check, it was still operated as a Shuttle aircraft. I imagine if that particular 737 is now operated on a mainline flight then the seating config is changed, it must have now a First Class cabin which there wasn't on Shuttle flights.

I just saw a shuttle 737 at Cleveland yesterday. They visit regularly.
