Of course my all-time favorite B737 paint scheme was by WestPac back in the day of "the Simpsons." I enjoyed this scheme so much I bought a 1:144th scale kit, got the decals, and painted it up like it. A great livery indeed...

WN's blue-dominant livery looks pretty nice. The orange and tan livery does not.

What was Herb thinking? Had he been drinking too much Wild Turkey that day when he made this decision?

Here are a few good ones,

DELTA 737-200's IN THE NEW COLORS!!!!!!! Those are just absolutely amazing looking!!!! Until those are phased-out, that is my favorite 737 paint job. There is nothing else that can compare to it.

Hey...let's ease up on the WN Canyon Blue bashing. Anything....anything was better than Harvest Gold circa 1970. We heard all the gasps of horror back in 2001 when we started making the conversion. What Herb was thinking was to make sure that our planes were instantly recognizeable....mission accomplished. The interiors are vastly improved and the demise of the "lounge seating" has not come a moment too soon.
