From The wire.....
PHOENIX, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- America West Airlines business-friendly fare structure is creating so much customer demand in its Las Vegas hub that it is adding new service to St. Louis; Billings, Mont.; and Des Moines, Iowa on Oct. 26, Nov. 26 and Dec. 19, respectively. America West will also add a third daily, nonstop roundtrip flight between its Phoenix hub and St. Louis on Oct. 26.

Been in the schedules forever, but hadn't been announced till today. Had to know this was coming with the cutbacks from AA. It will be on a 733, and the extra departure to PHX is on a A-319. Good to see HP interested in the STL market. They really seemed disinterested for a long time. Over at another board someone mentioned them setting up a domicile at STL. With their new lower fare structure, it could maybe work. Who knows...
CO is coming back with mainline also....STL officials are in heavy negotiations with FL and DL too.
