No, Concorde won't always take off from the northern runway (09L/27R). Normally Concorde will depart on the runway which all the other aircraft are departing from, however it is possible that even if takeoffs are on the northern runway
LHR ATC will offer BA001 a southern runway departure because it's closer to T4.

It's a bit unfortunate that this change should occur now that the evenings are drawing in-I guess we'll have to make the most of it.
Ron, are you coming to LHR for the final Concorde flights next month? I can't guarentee I'll be there but I'll give it a try.
