Brazilian carrier TAM is announcing in Sweden 14 weekly flights to South America from Scandinavia (via Paris).
They fly A330-200 to Brazil and offer connections to Buenos Aires, Asuncion, Santiago and Montevideo.

Do you have any more details about this new operation? I new they were flying KLM passenger from Sao Paulo to other South American destinations... But who is flying now their own passengers from Scandinavia to Paris?

I do not know if Varig still flies to Copenhagen but I certainly welcome this new alternative. They are offering tickets for well under 800 euros. Not bad at all  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

TAM already codeshares with AF on CDG-GRU so I guess that AF will also carry the passengers to Scandinavia then.
14 weekly flights adds up tp two dailies and TAM only flies 1/day so they even must be advertising the AF CDG-GRU flight here.

I got carried by the unclear advertising.

I finally got in touch with their agent in Stockholm and she explainted to me that you fly SAS or Air France to Paris and then TAM or AF to Brazil.

Hehe...seems like AF and SK will do the flying from France to Norway as well.
