Hi All,
Anyone of you can advice me when is the best time to buy a ticket to EZE from LHR with Air France?
I intened to fly around 10th December for one month. I know is near Christmas time.
I'm looking for reasonble fares since the last 4 months and the cheapest was £ 750 incl. tax. Now they are £ 911 or £ 1100 even £ 2500 (full fare) depending on the days.
I've called Air France and obviously the said nothing new to me. Only that I need to wait for the plane to be almost full and might get cheaper fares.
As you know that is not helpful at all.
I've been searching in any website / travel agent you can imagine also those recommended by Air France itself and had no luck at all.
Can anyone of you Air France related give me a clue in when /where I can get a ticket for me and my wife flying LHR-CDG-EZE-CDG-LHR or better SOU-CDG-EZE-CDG-SOU ?
Many thanks for any of you that can help on this matter.

Hi Mike
If you have tried all available websites as well as AF, I doubt you will find anyone here who will find better fares.
FYI, good websites include expedia.co.uk and Opodo.
Is this a return flight, or one-way? Does it have to be with AF, or could you fly some other airline?
The cheapest fares are usually around £500, and Lufthansa often offers the cheapest fares ex-UK. For example, I am travelling with LH, BHX-FRA-EZE and back, next February. Total price I paid was £503, which really is pretty good.
Another possible option is to have a look at the Iberia website, and perhaps think of connecting via MAD.
AF does offer some reasonable fares, but they are not always the cheapest.
Sorry, I don't think I can offer you anymore advice. Generally, £500 is the cheapest you can expect on any airline, from LHR.

I agree with DoorstoManual.
Occasionally Iberia and Aerolineas have some special offers (about 600 euro) but I don't think they will come with any substantial discount so close to Christmas.
Good luck and do not forget to tell us about your findings. I think there are a bunch of us who wouldn't mind making good use of a cheap ticket to Baires

ARG-777, I think 500£ is really really the cheapest you can find, and I doubt this fare will be available at the period you want to travel...
You know, the AF flight CDG-EZE is very popular and ALWAYS FULL, especially at the time of the year you want to travel. The only advise I can give is to book your seats, whatever the airline you choose to travel with, as soon as possible if you are sure of your dates, as the fare will probably raise as you get closer to the departure day.

At the risk of telling you how to suck eggs, BA's daily flight to Guarulhos goes on to EZE three times a week; if you are a bit flexible with dates, then......A quick look at their website is currently showing 8 December LHR-EZE at £363 with 6 December at £318 and a return on 13 January at £362. All in with taxes around £711... Its a decent flight on a 777 - have taken it to/from Rio quite often, leaves LHR at 21:50 and gets into GRU at about 05:00, so probably be in EZE for about 09:00

Steve, I did in fact forget to mention BA - but only because they have rarely been cheaper (in fact, they have often been the most expensive) option to EZE.
However, around February time, they do offer some great £499 fares (total). The service is indeed the best you are likely to get on this route (from my experience), and I have always enjoyed flying with them to Argentina. They even make a point of hiring Argentine FAs (much nicer ) on these flights.
I remember the old nonstop 744 services...sadly, no longer with us.
