Today ATA was a major operator at Sea-Tac as we had three aircraft on the ground simulanously. The 753 and the 1011 operated for AMC (military) in additio to the scheduled 738.

I've taken the scheduled ATA 738 to Midway before, not a bad ride...
Man, I haven't seen the KSEA scene in months, thanks for the pic!

Normally, that would be true, but this has been the nicest Seattle summer in recent memory. We've had something like 60 straight days of 70-degree-plus weather, an all-time record, and no substantial rain for about three months (I'm not exaggerating). Unbelievable weather, but it's getting a little monotonous and most people are ready for some rain. Never thought I'd say that!

Sunshine is plenty in Seattle in the summer. And this summer, pretty much everyday has been sunny to the point where I'm looking forward to rain!
By the way, since you are from Detroit, these numbers might interest you:
Average annual rainfall Detroit - 30.03 (using Troy, MI actually)
Average annual rainfall Seattle - 39.86.
Sure, that is more, but not shockingly more.
Cities like my former home, NYC, and Atlanta average more per year.
Anwyay, uhh, this about airplanes!!
Sorry.
