B777FA, great one, have not seen that one.

I really like any shot of a 757 taking off or landing, great looking plane!

Rgds,

Greg

BTW, the original shot posted is a great shot! Just think there are other "deserving" 757 shots in the database!

MCIB757 . Funny.

That poor 757 looks like it was slimed at nickelodium studios. But, don't worry it's Delta. They will screw it up 2 or 3 more times and then give it a rest for a while to let the others catch up.

Haha, that's a very good was to put it Rampboy77. If it wasn't for the paint scheme the picture would be very nice, with all the flaps up it really adds a lot.

Nothing special about that shot, it's a typical nose shot.

Now THESE are what I would say are the best 757 shots:

I have contacted the maker of this thread to delete it as quite frankly i am a little embarrased that a thread has been opened with my photo that is not even the sharpest or clearest. I uploaded the photo as a 50 / 50 shot as i personally like the photo and i want it in my collection, i did not give it much hope it would be accepted.

however this thread has developed into some nice shots of 757's that i would never have viewed.

I did not ask for this shot to be plugged like this accept my apologies.

Ryan

p.s was i right or wrong to ask for a deletion of a thread?

Go Double-Dare ugly 757. I wish they would go with a different color at least. That color makes me want to not eat my vegetables at dinner. When people plan this kind of stuff, who thinks that green color is A GREAT IDEA? Fire that person.  Acting devilish

I agree with you Ryan, you made the right choice in suggesting deletion. While it is a very good shot, (nothing against you or the photo) I do not really see the point of this thread and I can understand how it is embarrassing for you.

Ryan, The picture is pretty good. You're the owner so you're the ultimate authority to ban any use of your picture. However, I recommend to keep this going. It started a series of good pictures going around. You'll have to accept that not everyone sees pictures the same way. Some like the frontal, other the belly shots, still others like the Bird's eye shot.

On the other hand, this has got to be the longest 757 there ever was. No doubt it's an optical illusion caused by the white fuselage against the cluttered background. But man oh man -- isn't that airliner looong?  Smile

Worldperks that's a 757-300, which indeed is longer than a 757-200. They're brand new. NW has some too.

Do a search and compare the two series and you'll see the difference in length.

Kris
