Hello
A friend of mine just got a random, completely non-expected "bonus" of 500,000 miles in her continental airlines frequent flier mileage account.
Another friend of hers got the same too.
Does anyone know what is going on? Is there a glitch in Continental's system? ? And if this does turn out to be a mistake, can she keep the miles?

Why don't these things ever happen to me?
The right thing to do, of course, is to inform them of the error. I would be MIGHTY tempted not to though...

Someone on flyertalk.com asked just today about a "theoretical" 1,000,000 mile addition to their account. Sounds to me like their system is being played with (i.e. hacked) or has gone haywire.
