Don't JAL and ANA both have all boeing fleets? I know ANA ordered 737s to replace the A320s and older 737s, JAL has an entirely boeing fleet, if you consider the DC10s and MD11s Boeings. I definitely see both of these carriers as launch customers, along with possibly DL and CO

Keesje:
I don't see JAl as a 7e7 launch customer as a sign of strenght.
Nor would I see Emirates, Quatar or SQ as such.
To much governement / oil / status involved.
Then what do you say about the 380? 80 of the 116 380s on firm orders are from airlines in your classification: Emirates (43), Singapore (12), Air France (10), and Lufthansa (15).
FWIW, JAL is a fully privatized airline. See http://www.japanair.com/e/aboutjal/history.php#4. Government owned does not always mean the government is heavily involved. SQ has been quite profitable that they really don't need any hand-out from their government.
