This could be unlikely, but what if other US carriers were to make LCC's

I would think it would be interesting for AA to make an LCC. I think a good name would be "American PRIDE." They would make money b/c of the strong sense of nationalism in the name. They would use 757's on leisure routes, and continue to slash fares.

USAIRWAYS has obviously failed before, so I dont really suspect anything

Continental maybe?

Northwest?

US Airways Metrojet was terminated after 9/11 .... someone correct me if i was wrong but it wasn't really a failure. Well back on to the subject, if all airlines started making LCC's there's a good chance of them being bankrupt since they will be focusing on 2 markets. (That's my opinion so no rude comments) Although it might be profitable they will be competing with LCC's that are already dominating the market with pretty new aircraft.
