They sure do fly to some weird destinations.  Big thumbs up

OKOK, This is the reincarnation of Alaska Airlines famous commercials from the 80's. If you lived in a town AS served you are sure to have seen them. The new campaign started a few days back and is REALLY funny, as you will see from the website. I didn't see this posted so I thought I would, if its old let it die please.  Smile

Here is a link to the story on the AS employee website http://www.alaskasworld.com/NEWS/2003/09/18_TVadsdebut.asp

In the "Message from the CEO" page;

RE: Sweat clothes
Is there some sort of senior Olympics team that I’m not aware of? If there is, exactly how big is that team? It must be huge. Because there are thousands elderly people in matching tracksuits on our airline everyday. There is a larger question here: When did sweat clothes become acceptable outerwear? In my mind, outside of gymnasiums and physical therapy facilities, the only time it’s acceptable to wear sweat clothes in public is when you are flushed out of your home by fire.

LOL!

I love the "valued passenger suggestions" page. Try typing in a suggestion and you'll see what I mean.

LOL!!!@!!!

Do you find vacation just too expensive? Well, how does 21 dollars to San Jose sound? 35 dollars to Phoenix? 27 to Las Vegas? Introducing SkyHigh Airlines Super Scrimper Fares. You’ll be whisked away in intermittent air-conditioned comfort at an altitude of eight feet and speeds approaching 60 miles per hour in one of our diesel “Flightless Eagle Coaches.” Yes, buses. You may not be flying, but your spirits will be soaring as you speed toward our hub on the outskirts of Elko, Nevada. What’s more, your SkyHigh Airlines mileage is good for a regular soda at the fabulous Wooden Nickel Casino and Stockyard. SkyHigh Airlines Super Scrimper Fares. Saving you money at a price.

Firings, if well done, are good for employee morale.
