As has been reported here in the past, Olympic Aviation retired their Do-228 this summer, replacing them with ex-Tyrolean De Havilland DHC-8s.

It's been on Jetphotos for about a month. It was reconditioned here in Calgary. I think it might have been an ex. Southern Winds aircraft.

Back in August Olympic's management said that the new, reorganized Olympic would invite both Airbus and Boeing to compete for its medium size planes fleet renewal (obviously the 737 vs. A320 families). The long range fleet will keep the A340s, while the props will be the current ATR/DHC-8 mix.
