im a regular visitor to EGCC. but seeming I live near EGCD about 15 mins drive away, im thinking of visiting there, my only concern is that im not sure about the traffic, I know BAe are based there, and theres a GA area, but just how busy does EGCD get, i mean if i was there for a day, what type of aircraft would i expect to see, and how often do they land??
Also ive heard of a footpath that crosses the airfield, does anyone know how to get to it?

The airfield is not busy at all and you'll be lucky to see any aircraft movements. There is no GA and only a handful of based (mostly stored) aircraft.
The public footpath goes around the eastern perimeter of the airfield but not much can be seen from it.
