Effective from today, Wednesday 24th September, all the domestic and European scheduled flights of the Volare Group are operated under the Volareweb brand. So no more Volare Airlines scheduled flights.
Under the brand Volare they fly short and medium haul charters.
To be honest there isn't any difference in Volare and Volareweb, cause they have the same flight code VA, same planes, crews and facilities. The only change is the product offer to the costumers. On Vweb is no frills, on Volare is typical charter.
The long haul operations, both charters and scheduled, continue to be operated by Air Europe brand, using 6 A332s in Volare livery, just to keep the rights on intercontinental routes.
The long haul schedule network for autumn 2003 included:
They also asked rights to open new long haul destinations in Japan, China, Kenya, Tanzania and Thailand.
All these market, except China, are/were still served with charter flights.

From the 24 of september (today) all the domestic and European Volare Airliners flights and Air Europe, will be operated by Volareweb.com. But the intercontinental flights will continue to be scheduled flights and not charters operated by Air Europe (PE).
A partire dal 24 Settembre 2003, tutti i voli di nazionali ed europei di AirEurope e Volare Airlines, opereranno adottando il marchio low cost Volareweb.com. I servizi offerti a bordo di questi voli sono a pagamento.
