London Gatwick is currently closed while an aircraft circles to dump fuel and make an emergency landing...any news on the a/c or airline?

It's a DL aircraft, and they're said to have hydraulic problems. No word on a/c type or flight yet ..

Most likely to be the DL9 LGW-ATL which was timetabled to leave LGW at 1305. It is a 767-300.

Believe the a/c was flying AMS-JFK when it diverted to LGW with hydraulic problems.

When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!

Yep, you're right GKirk, it was DL81 AMS-JFK, 767-300. Pax deplaned at LGW and transferred to another 763, according to Sabre it left the gate at 1548 and took off at 1605.
