It appears that Ryanair's CEO & EU Transport Commissioner Loyola de Palacio have reached agreement on Ryanair's use of subsidies on its routes across Europe; that includes the incentives that local semi-public/public airports offer Ryanair in order to establish new routes or services.
The agreement must still be ratified. Changes will be made to the way in which these deals are put out to tender, however the airline will not be asked to return any money received thus far.
